Role: Senior Software Engineer (AI-Augmented Engineering)

Location: Manchester (1 day per week meetups, rest of the time WFH)

Salary: to £75k

We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer who embraces an AI-first mindset. You understand that tools like Claude, GitHub Copilot, and Cursor aren't just "helpers", they are essential to high-velocity delivery and will enable you to make a great impact in your day-to-day responsibilities which may include:

Rapid Prototyping & Delivery: Leverage AI tools to brainstorm, scaffold, and ship production-ready features in days, not months.
System Architecture: Design scalable systems that integrate AI capabilities seamlessly into our core product.
Strategic Engineering: Spend less time on boilerplate and more time solving the "hard" problems: security, architecture, and user experience.
Lead by Example: Hel to drive the new team on how to integrate AI workflows into their daily coding habits to 10x our collective output.

What You Bring

We’re looking for a Senior Engineer, who thrives on building end-to-end features in a fraction of the traditional time.

You're an Engineer who’s passionate about engineering excellence, someone who cares deeply about building the right thing and building it the right way. You’ll champion strong engineering practices, from clean design and thoughtful architecture to automated testing and high-quality delivery. This role is for an engineer who takes pride in well-crafted code, values collaboration, and enjoys raising the bar for themselves and the teams around them.

Technology experience summary:

The AI Mindset: You are an expert at prompting and utilizing AI tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, Anthropic models, Llama models and OpenAI to accelerate your coding, debugging, and documentation.
Full Stack Mastery: A true 50/50 split of front and back end experience utuilising a mixture of technologies such as TypeScript, React, .net Core, Python etc.
Cloud Native: Hands-on experience with Azure or AWS is essential.
Pragmatism: You value "done" over "perfect" but understand when technical debt needs to be addressed.
Mission-Driven: You want your code to do more than just generate revenue; you want it to change lives.
